MODA has always given us great ways to cut corners with Pre-Cut fabrics. We love the Fat Quarter’s, Jelly Rolls, Charm Packs and Layer Cakes. Maywood Studio’s has also enticed us with Sweet Sixteens and RJR is getting popular with their Twice the Charm packs. To add to the mix, MODA has recently come out with Honey Buns (Sweet Rolls) which are 1-1/2 x 45″ Strips and due to ship by January 2009, look for them on our 20% off Pre-Orders soon.

Cutting strips is easy but tedious. I probably will continue to cut my own most of the time, mainly because it is much cheaper. Of course, these will be die cut–guaranteed accuracy. And these will be great for those ‘I need it in a hurry’ projects.

These are a nice way to buy a collection of fabrics and can be used in a varity of projects. There are more and more patterns for these precut sets becoming available.

That’s what I like about them. I know I can cut my own cheaper, but I love the idea of having so many different patterns rolled up in one. I’d never be buying a whole bundle of a collection and then cutting them myself.
However, it gives me chance to see which ones I just love in a given collection and buy some yardage of those.

You will be able to get these cheaper than our prices we shown above, we always have wonderful sales going on for the public and on our e-mail list! The more we sell the more we can order new items for everyone. MODA has a bunch more great stuff coming down the pipe. I will try to get those samples here as they come out.
We give deep discounts on NEW stuff as you can see. (Never pay full price!) We love to share the savings to ALL.

Not sure if I can use these narrow strips as much. HOpe they can come up with a few real nice patterns or projects so we can try them ! I recently made a large bag with jelly roll strips (Tranquility pattern) and it turned out so beautiful ! Will try these narrow strips if I can get a few good ideas.

I love the idea of pre-cut strips. It’s a great time-saver. But would be interested to see some project/pattern ideas for using them.
